Holy Trinity houses many interesting stones, plaques and memorials to significant players in the city’s history, a few commissioned, inspected (and in one case even sculpted) by those in question before they died!

Amongst the oldest memorials are the effigies reputed to be the De la Pole family (although John Leland's Itinerary, Travels in Tudor England in the 1540's states it to of Robert de Selby and his wife)which can be found in the South Choir Aisle. An effigy believed to be Eleanor Box, Lady Mayoress of Hull in 1456, can be found in the South Transept, along with an interesting story surrounding the discovery.
The North Choir Aisle also boasts a fine painting of The Last Supper by James Partmentier which features an unusual number of disciples...
